Christmas Crime Story tells an unconventional story about the Yuletide holiday. The feature film departs from the lighthearted family-friendly Christmas movies and instead takes viewers on a darker journey into the criminal side of Christmas. Christmas Crime Story could be described as the Christmas version of Crash since it follows six different characters whose lives become intertwined after a botched Christmas Eve robbery.

Mary-Margaret Humes

Dawson’s Creek fans will recognize Mary-Margaret Humes as the iconic Gail Leery. Since then, Humes has made guest appearances in many TV shows and had minor roles in many films. The role Humes plays in Christmas Crime Story is very different from what she’s used to as she plays a grieving mother who is looking for a relationship with her son. Humes’s performance in Christmas Crime Story is one of the highlights of the movie.

Adrian Paul

Adrian Paul started as an actor in the 80s in The Colbys TV show. He starred in the Highlander series and many others going into the 21st century. Paul’s role as a villain in Christmas Crime Story was unlike any other he’s played before, as his character is conflicted and sees hallucinations.

Eric Close

Before starring in Christmas Crime Story, Eric Close was known for his role in American Sniper and as Martin Fitzgerald in the TV series Without a Trace. Close started acting in the 90s with the TV show Santa Barbara. He went on to continue working in TV shows and TV movies which recently includes Nashville. Christmas Crime Story is one of his only major roles in a feature film.

Alex Fernandez

Alex Fernandez may be a familiar face to many audience members because of the large variety of roles he has played over his acting career. Starting in the 80s, Fernandez has had minor roles in TV shows, movies, and even video games. Fernandez typically plays an authoritative figure like law enforcement or a military officer. Christmas Crime Story is no exception as he plays a detective.

Neraida Bega

Neraida Bega plays a murderous fiancee in Christmas Crime Story and gives a standout performance for her first major role in a feature film. Bega has only recently begun her career as an actress and has accumulated experience over the years, playing minor roles in movies and TV shows.

Ashley Romans

Ashley plays the role of Heather in Christmas Crime Story in 2016 which was one of her first acting roles. She began her career in 2014 and has quickly risen in the acting world. She was most recently seen starring in 2021’s Y: The Last Man series as Agent 355.
